Behind The Scenes Tours

Visit parts of the North Norfolk Railway not normally open to the public!

Our last Behind The Scenes Tours operated in June and July 2008. Details of what was on offer during the evenings are available below. We hope to operate further tours later on in the year. Information for future tours will be available here nearer the time.

On selected Wednesday evenings in June and July we will be operating new Behind The Scenes Tours of the railway.

Departing from Sheringham station at 18.30, passengers will travel on our vintage Diesel Multiple Unit or Diesel Railbus, both offering superb panoramic views of the beautiful Norfolk countryside. The train will go through to Holt before returning as far as Weybourne.

Here you will get the rare opportunity to have a guided tour of our locomotive and carriage sheds. There will also be an opportunity to vist the signalbox at this station.

The train will then return to Sheringham, arriving at approximately 20.30.
