We had a memorable trip on the Poppyline on June 10th, going from Sheringham to Holt. Our outward journey was on one of the steam trains and our return on the diesel railbus.
It was a great trip, going through the beautiful Norfolk countryside. Well done to all who keep the line running

Hello, we traveled with you on Sat evening with the 1940s themed Murder and Mystery trip. What a wonderful evening, the food was lovely and well presented, the "entertainment" was great, a big thank you to all involved, the staff were superb, we hope to return! Kind regards to you all.

Would like to say a big enthusiastic thank you to all your staff and volunteers for our visit Sept 8th '11. this was our second visit as we were with you Sept 2008.
On both our visits we travelled the line to Holt and back and thoroughly enjoyed the memories that returned from the late 50's early 60's.
The only difference this time besides the motive power was your connection to the main line. A lot of planning and effort no doubt but well done the possibilities are now endless for visiting engines.
As we are now back home in the highlands, 30 mile from the Strathspey Railway may I just say that health permitting we will be back next Sept. as we take our holidays in Norfolk each year.
Once again many thanks for a wonderful day out for myself, wife and daughter and see you all soon.

We had a great time on the poppyline whilst on holiday, the whole experience took us back to bygone days, everyone was so friendly, all the stations looked great, the museum at Holt was interesting plus to sit in first class was heaven, looking out at the wonderful countryside, our congratulations to all the people who give up their time to produce such a wonderful experience

Had a fantastic time at the diesel gala at my favourite railway yesterday. The railway infrastructure and stations are extremely well maintained and it is run in a professional manner that the national rail network's operating companies could learn a lot from; and the main thing for me, the railway has an impressive (and very noisy) diesel fleet that is certainly challenged on the steep gradients of this very scenic line. I particularly enjoyed seeing, riding behind and listening to Class 25, 25057 and Class 37, 6737.

Overall, a fantastic day which could not have been better.

Oh, and by the way, the station buffet at Sheringham makes the best shortbread outside of Scotland.
