Junior Club

The Club, as an organised activity, meet every other month and undertake tasks such as cleaning the engines and generally helping on various area of the railway.

Outside these regular meetings, individual members have recently been involved in such tasks as traveling on the train distributing leaflets, under the supervision of the Guard, becoming Travelling Ticket Inspectors and assisting with Special Events.

There are plenty of opportunities for helping outside of the regular meetings. A number of members of the Junior Club have migrated to becoming fully-fledged volunteers once the appropriate age limit has been reached and they are legally allowed to undertake the various responsibilities on the Railway.

Membership is available to boys or girls between the ages of 10 and 15.
