The North Norfolk Railway will have a very special guest over the weekend of 12-13 June 2010. Ivor the Engine and Jones the Steam will be on hand throughout the weekend, allowing children and grown-ups alike to experience the magic of the Merioneth and Llantisilly Rail Traction Company. The railway will be operating to a special timetable throughout the weekend, based upon our Yellow service with a number of additional trains for Ivor. You can download the timetable here
Ivor the Engine and Jones the Steam will be operating a special service between Sheringham and Weybourne ONLY, and please note, in order to travel behind Ivor, passengers must be in possession of a full line rover ticket, prices are below.
Fares will be at our normal prices, that's only £10.50 per adult, £9.50 per senior citizen and £7.00 per child, however our Family tickets offer the best value, at £35.00 for 2 adult and 2 children (or 3 adult and 1 child), this price includes a £5 voucher to spend in one of our station buffets or souvenir shops on the day of travel.
Created by Oliver Postgate and Peter Firmin, the adventures of the railway engine that wants to sing in the choir have captured the imagination of children for generations, come along to bring back memories and share the excitement as Ivor helps to keep the dragon red hot and find the elephant lost in the gasworks, look out for some of Ivor and Jones's adventures over the weekend!
