Spooky goings-on at the North Norfolk Railway this Halloween!
Halloween Week 22nd - 30th October 2016 (October Half Term)
Halloween week starts on 22nd October, and the North Norfolk Railway is ready with a line up that’s full of treats and more than a spooky trick or two!
Ghoulies and ghosties abound! At Weybourne Station, if you're feeling brave enough, you can enter the spook-laden Grisly Grotto, hellish haunt of witches, warlocks and shuddering spiders.

Open daily between 22nd October - 30th October. Do you dare to enter the Grisly Grotto? The child friendly grisly grotto is a fun Halloween attraction, be sure to collect your Ghostly quiz from Weybourne.
Creepy Children's Crafts
Get into the spooky spirit with drop in children’s craft activities at the Railway Institute, Holt Station. £1.00 per child. All children must be accompanied by an adult. 11am – 3pm

Wednesday 26th October – Hallowe’en Masks
Thursday 27th October – Haunted Lanterns * please bring a glass jar

Take a journey in darkness, surrounded by ghostly goings-on as you journey up and down the line. Bring along your cameras and see if you're able to capture evidence of anything particularily phantom!
Our first spooky departure will leave Sheringham at 5pm, this is a journey designed to spook children under the age of eleven! Come and take part in our Best Costume Competition whilst enjoying a Hot Chocolate and a spooky treat! Take time to stop off and explore our Grisly Grotto at Wicked Weybourne before going full steam ahead to Haunted Horrible Holt!
Our second ghostly departure is for the slightly less timid, departing Sheringham at 8pm, we ramp up the spookiness in attempt to out spook adults and older children!
Booking is essential and seats are sold on a first come first served basis, dare to join us?
Normal fares will be in operation for this week. (Special fares apply on evening Ghost Train.)
A standard yellow timetable will be in operation, with alternate steam and diesel services, the first service departing from Sheringham at 09.55 and from Holt at 10.35.
