Fine Dining aboard our prestigious dining train
The North Norfolk Railway will once again be presenting its increased dining train services during 2012 on The North Norfolkman. After years of work and a large financial investment, the railway now boasts its own set of dedicated dining carriages. These overhauled vehicles, resplendent in crimson & cream livery, will be used in all of our dining train services, with a new vehicle joining the fleet in the near future!
 The North Norfolkman
The crack North Norfolkman dining train features a 50-years-old British Railways restaurant and buffet car, immaculately restored at a cost of more than £40,000. Also included in the train are two British Railways MK1 coaches turned out in 1950s crimson & cream livery, and a new vehicle will be entering traffic upon the completion of its rebuild at Weybourne. Our Sunday lunch trains are formed of two vehicles, while evening dining trains are formed of the entire North Norfolkman train.
Traditionally attentive staff serve beautifully prepared meals and a range of wines, beers and soft drinks at your seat as you enjoy the spectacular views of coast and country. The complete North Norfolkman dining train or single carriages can be hired for corporate and private parties and weddings.
Gift Vouchers
Would you like to purchase dining tickets for a loved one for that extra special gift? We offer vouchers for dining train tickets which can be redeemed against any of our North Norfolkman trains. The vouchers can be purchased from our booking office (telephone 01263 820800) and an extra special message added for that personal touch.

Sunday Lunch Trains
We have a number of Sunday Lunch trains scheduled to operate in 2012, making use of a portion of our North Norfolkman dining train. Sunday Lunch Trains will run on the following dates.

All trains will depart Sheringham at 12:00 and passengers will travel on 2 round trips to Holt and back, being served a three-course meal whilst on the train. Arriving back to Sheringham at approx 2.40pm
The menu, including vegetarian options, will be sent out to all passengers in advance. All food is freshly-prepared on the train and a variety of Wines, beers and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available to purchase from our on-board bar.
Limited seats available - book early to avoid disappointment.
The ticket price is £37.50 per person.

The North Norfolkman bar opens at 6.30pm, where upon the dedicated dining service departs Sheringham at 7.10pm. Passengers will travel on 2 round trips to Holt and back whilst enjoying a 4 course meal on the Steam-hauled train.
The menu, including vegetarian options, will be sent out to all passengers in advance. All food is freshly-prepared on the train and a variety of Wines, beers and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available to purchase.

The ticket price is £44.50 per person.
