We now have a number of webcams online. These webcams are ideal for seeing what the weather
was like 30 seconds ago, which is quite useful as this part of the North Norfolk
coast has its own micro-climate. This means the weather forecasts available on
the internet for Norwich are not necessarily valid for Sheringham, Cromer and
the other places near the Cromer ridge.
It has been known for the weather to be different at all
three stations at any one time!
There is also a webcam overlooking the car park at
Sheringham, so you should get a rough idea of the parking situation! Our thanks
go to the Sheringham Primary School Webcam project for these pictures.
Please note the Car Park Webcam is NOT owned or operated
by the NNR and therefore we cannot be held responsible for
the camera or the http://webcam.sheringham.org.uk website.
Webcam Fault Reporting
Whilst the North Norfolk Railway endeavours to keep our station
webcams fully operational, from time to time one or more of
them may require to be offline for maintenance or other reasons.
Staff at the railway check the webcam pages on a regular
basis and any technical faults with cameras are discovered
quickly and are rectified as soon as possible.
Therefore it is not necessary to contact the webmaster
or the enquiries office to report webcam faults. Thank you.
