By far the biggest event of its kind in Norfolk. Step back to 1940s Norfolk as we commemorate the 80th anniversary of WW2.
Military and civilian vehicles, music, dancing, ration food, re-enactments and of course an intensive steam hauled train service. Dress up in the period to really feel like you have been transported back in time. This is one of those events you really shouldn’t miss!
The 1940s weekend also encompasses the town of Sheringham and Holt with a vast amount of entertainment taking place on the NNR stations and venues in the towns alike.
There will be Evening Entertainment event on Saturday night, entry will be free to the holders of two-day event passes.

PLEASE NOTE: To access any of our stations, you will require a platform ticket for each station, these are not transferable between stations; only rover tickets will be valid for this event. No discounts or concessions will be available.
A frequent service will be in operation throughout the weekend with trains shuttling up to every twenty minutes!
