Beer and Cider Festival, 24, 25, 26 June
The Railway’s Beer and Cider Festival is back!
Whether you relax aboard one of our historic carriages or on the platform at Sheringham Station there’ll be scores of local ales and ciders, including many from local suppliers alongside those from breweries further afield. A selection of wines, spirits and soft drinks will also be available.
Enjoy DJ sets throughout the day courtesy of returning favourite Drivetime Music. There’ll be live music on Friday evening as the Sheringham Shantymen join us, and from The Hillbilly Goats Gruff!
Refreshments will be available from the Railway’s buffet or Lilwall’s Hog roast.
Please note that this year’s event will be run via a token based system not a cash bar; holders of advance tickets will receive a souvenir glass, festival programme and beer list plus the first £10 worth of tokens with their tickets. Additional tokens will be also available to purchase on the day.
Timetable
The Festival itself will be open from 11am – 10pm on Friday & Saturday, and open from 11am until 5pm on Sunday. Last orders will be at 9.45pm and 4.45pm respectively.
Two steam engines and a heritage diesel locomotive will be in action operating a frequent train service between Sheringham, Weybourne and Holt as shown below – it is possible to travel on the trains without visiting the Beer Festival
Tickets
£15.00 – Festival Only Tickets give the ticket holder:

- Event guide and tasting notes
- £10 of Festival tokens to spend at the bar
Tickets for the weekend’s heritage steam and diesel trains are available separately.
Beer Festival Tickets are not valid for train travel and travel tickets do not give access to the beer festival.
Visitor wishing to ride on the trains and attend the beer festival will need to purchase tickets for both.

Fancying something extra?
On Friday 24 June you can enjoy a traditional seaside favourite aboard the popular The North Norfolk Fryer; Cod and Chips cooked the traditional Sheringham way in beef fat from one of Sheringham’s top chip shops finishing up with ice cream from Norfolk makers Ronaldo’s!
Gluten free and Vegetarian options are also available.
