Between the 31st March and 5th May the national rail line between Cromer and Sheringham will be closed to allow the complete reconstruction of Sheringham station in preparation for the introduction of Greater Anglia’s new fleet of bi-mode trains in the autumn. During this time a dedicated rail replacement bus service will operate between Cromer and Sheringham connecting with all Norwich services at Cromer.

The North Norfolk Railway is unaffected by this closure and our trains will be operating as usual and the line to Cromer will reopen in time for the first Cromer Dining Train of the season which is due to operate on the 8thMay. There will be no impact on the Spring Steam Gala that is taking place between the 5th and 7th April as the visiting locomotives are being brought in by road as usual.
