From July 26th, we will be changing from a Yellow Timetable to a Red Timetable, meaning that two steam locomotives will be scheduled to run every day!

From July 26th also, we will also be returning to our normal operating fares, where an adult can get unlimited daily travel on our line for just £15. On top of that, face coverings will no longer be mandatory at any place on the Railway, although we do strongly advise that face coverings are worn on board our trains for your safety, as there is a risk you may come in to close contact with people from outside your bubble. We also advise that face coverings are worn inside the buffets, shops, model railway, museum and railway cottage for the protection of you and others. We will be continuing to use the ‘fogging’ technique to decontaminate our trains for the foreseeable future – this is just another step we are taking to help ensure your safety while you are travelling with us.

The new Red Timetable is viewable at and you can book tickets for these services very soon at . You will still be able to walk up and buy tickets from all of our ticket offices as you normally would have done prior to the Pandemic. Tickets for a single journey are only available from the relevant ticket officer on the day of travel and are not available to purchase in advance online.

We are looking forward to seeing you!
